A Legend In Her Time
This was Bobcat 1, hovercraft extraordinaire. As you can see, it was a massive piece of work with a 2X4 frame having 2 boards screwed to the top and bottom of it. These boards made a cavity that we were well aware of. As air was forced down the crome pipes and into the bag (not shown), the hollow cavity filled with air, causing it to rip itself to pieces.
Bobcat 1 was able to reach heights of over 19 inches off the ground with more than 600 pounds of weight stacked on top of it. She was loved, and she will be missed.
